ODD Conference LLC
Our History
The ODD Ball was created to be a conference that addresses the unique issues and concerns of those who own and manage dog daycare facilities. For our purposes, a dog daycare is defined as “a business that offers interactive group care for dogs from different families.” Within that definition, businesses range from very large with multiple locations to very small “one-person shows.”
The annual conference takes place in January, traditionally a slower time for our industry.

We're planning our thirteenth ODD Ball in Albuquerque, New Mexico in January of 2027!
Growth of the conference
After many years on the conference planning committee, Stephanie Clayton and Rayne Reitnauer took over the conference in June 2025.
We have expanded to allow attendees beyond the Facebook group, but the conference remains limited to people who own or manage non-franchise dog daycares only.
